The program allows students to live, work, and travel in the USA during their summer vacation while experiencing American culture and improving their English in a real-life environment.

Who Can Participate?

To participate in the Work & Travel USA program, applicants generally need to:

• be a full-time student at an accredited university or college;

• maintain regular attendance and remain actively enrolled;

• have a sufficient level of English for everyday communication — Intermediate level or higher;

• meet the eligibility requirements of the program and its designated sponsor.

How Does the Program Work?

The Work & Travel USA program is part of the U.S. Department of State's Exchange Visitor Program. Designated sponsor organizations administer the program and work with partners and representatives in different countries.

Global Interactive works as a partner representing a Work & Travel USA program sponsor and assists students throughout the application and preparation process.
